Camlock fittings are a kind of quick connect/disconnect coupling for suction hoses, rubber hoses, discharge hoses and so on. Quick coupling improves efficiency while reduces operation risk.
Camlock fitting working pressure mainly depends on the material and working temperature. Generally speaking, cam & groove couplings are made of aluminum, stainless steel 316, brass, dust iron and polypropylene. These materials have different premium working pressure depending on their sizes and temperatures. Before you install cam lock couplings, check the real working environment for maximizing the function of the coupling. The working pressure below for cam and groove couplings is rated at ambient temperature. When the temperature rises, the maximum working pressure will decrease accordingly.
In a word, you can work out the correct working pressure at elevated temperature according to the last table.

Working pressure for Camlock couplings will be affected by the material and the temperature. Different materials of cam & groove fittings have different temperature derating factors. At elevated temperature, you can work out the actual pressure according to derating factor at the certain temperature.
