Aluminum cam & groove coupler type D
Type D cam & groove couplers are often used with Type A adapters, and sometimes be used with Type E & F and Type DP (Dust Plug) of the same size. Aluminum couplers are accompanied by stainless steel handles and rings for long service expectancy. Type D aluminum camlock coupler ranges from 1/2" to 8" according to MIL-C-27487/ISO A-A-59326.
Aluminum camlock fittings have good abrasion, chemical resistance as well as lightweight, high strength and competitive cost. These quick hose couplings are often used with PVC suction hose, rubber suction hoses and milling hoses for the delivery of water, petroleum & fuels and slurry.
Remark: No camlock coupling is suitable for compressed air or steam applications.
